So, why CGI-Communication? Because we disclose our prices and an unbeatable value too good to pass by.
Other companies promise cheap service, but then add in "hidden charges", higher renewals, or promotional services that simply
"aren't as advertised". With us - you know exactly what you are going to get... Simple as that!

What is DSL Internet?

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is a high-speed Internet service that provides online access to local customers over standard copper telephone lines. In addition to being many times faster than Dial-up, DSL does not tie up the phone line. Coexisting with telephone service in this way allows users to surf the Net and use the phone at the same time.

DSL service requires a DSL modem, which connects to the telephone wall jack and computer. You can rent a Basic DSL modem (no WiFI, 1 Ethernet port) from CGI for $5.00 per month or a Advanced Modem (WiFI, and 4 Ethernet ports) for $9.00 per month. Alternatively, you may purchase a Basic modem for $89.99 or an Advanced Modem for $129.99.

DSL service requires a CenturyLink telephone circuit. This can be a "dry" circuit that does not contain dial-tone or an already existing telephone line. Each location must qualify individually. Sometimes due to limited port availability it may be possible for your neighbor to qualify and you may not.

For customers living in qualifying areas it is advisable that if you utilize the Internet for many sustained transfers (streaming video) you attempt DSL qualification before trying other services like our Wireless Broadband. DSL offers higher cell transfer rates and bursty traffic simply works better on these "wireline" services.

Don’t Qualify for DSL? Check out our Wireless Broadband, T1, or Optical Ethernet products.
