Home Guard is an optional service plan that covers all the service and repair of your home wiring and telephone jacks as they pertain to our provision of service to your home.

Home Guard is available for a monthly cost of just $3.95. If purchased at the time of initial installation of your services from SureWest Broadband Residential Services, Home Guard becomes effective immediately. If purchased after initial installation, Home Guard becomes effective 30 days after your Home Guard purchase date. Without Home Guard, you may contact SureWest for repair service at any time, but you will be charged all applicable truck roll and hourly rate charges. Home Guard protects you against these unforeseeable expenses.

As a Home Guard customer, SureWest will determine the source of service trouble and repair or replace any and all defective, damaged or improperly operating standard inside wire or standard jacks at no charge to the customer. It is not possible to determine the costs of custom wiring, because of widely varying needs and preferences. Therefore, custom wiring is not covered by Home Guard.
