IE10 Compatibility Issue

If while using our WebMail the send, save draft, attachments, save, etc. buttons do not respond when clicked, it is due to an incompatibility with several of the recent changes to the Internet Explorer web browser. Likely you are having this issue with multiple sites. The good news is its an easy fix and in most cases you can apply this method to other sites you are having problems with.

To fix this issue, you must enable compatibility mode by clicking on the broken paper icon located in the address bar. This setting gets saved and is retained even if you close your browser.

Alternatively, you can use the developer toolbar (F12) to reduce the browser mode to IE9 which also fixes the issue - however, IE10 does not retain this setting after being closed. You could also switch to Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome as a web-browser. They do not have this issue.

Email wont send

This is typically an issue with the mail client, antivirus/firewall software, or Internet connection. Check that the internet connection is working properly, verify your settings, and resolve if any issues are found.

No Recipient

In this case, the message gets bounced back accompanied with a rejection message of failure, detailing the technical cause of the mail rejection. Usually, this happens due to a incorrect Email address or wrong spelling of the complete Email id being used by the sender.

Mailbox Quota Exceeded

If the bounce message contains the cause of the delivery failure stating “the mailbox is full” or “the Quota has been exceeded”. This implies that the recipients email address has used all its allotted mail storage space and so no longer can receive new mails, until some space is released by removing messages.

Message Quota Exceeded

If the bounce message contains the cause of the delivery failure stating “the message quota has been exceeded” or “the message is too large”. This implies that the message, including attachments, is too large to be sent or received. The maximum message size for all CGI accounts is 20MB.

Blocked IP Address / Blacklist

Sometimes there is spam mailing by some users, which causes different ISPs and email applications to block that IP address, which makes it unable for the user to send emails. Sometimes cyber criminals also hack people’s insecure passwords and make them bystanders in such a fraudulent activity. In such a scenario, the only email troubleshooting method a user can apply is to contact the mail service and detail them about the issue.
