Apple Mail is an E-Mail client for the Apple IPhone. This will walk you through the steps for setting up Mail on the IPhone. All IOS versions are similar and you should be able to figure it out based off of the below.

Setting up a new E-Mail account in Mail on the IPhone

1. Go to settings

2. Select Mail

3. Click on Add Account

4. Select Other

5. Fill in the General fields.

  • Name: Your name, the name you want to display on the receiving end.
  • Address: Your E-Mail address.
  • Description: Description of this account.

Incoming Mail Server

6. Fill out the correct Incoming Mail server information.

  • Host Name:

For customers using the @cgaz.com or @cgmailbox.com domains use the following mail servers:

  • Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP): Enter mail.cgmailbox.com for your incoming mail server.

For customers using the their own domains use the following mail servers:

  • Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP): Enter mail.<yourdomain>.xxx for your incoming mail server.
  • User Name: <Your E-Mail address>
  • Password: Password for the E-Mail address.

Outgoing Mail Server

7. Fill out the correct Outgoing Mail server information.

  • Host Name:

For customers using the @cgaz.com or @cgmailbox.com domains use the following mail servers:

  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Enter mail.cgmailbox.com for your outgoing mail server.

For customers using the their own domains use the following mail servers:

  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Enter mail.<yourdomain>.xxx for your outgoing mail server.
  • User Name: <Your E-Mail address>
  • Password: Password for the E-Mail address.

At this point, click 'save' at the top and it should automatically detect the rest of your settings and connect to your mailbox. In the event that it doesn't work, you might want to check your accounts 'Advanced' settings and make sure you are not using SSL encryption.
